Tired as Firestone

Well the weekedn is almost here and I can look forward to resting a little and sleeping late.
I want to go see a movie, in a theater, its been a while since I have done that...

Cement on the freeway

Well I was trying to figure out why traffic was so backed up heading to a job site this morning and wouldn't you know it, I skirted around the freeway using one of the many backroads I chose to take as my alternate and low and behold, I get to see the culprit of everyone's misfortune. A nice 12'x30'x1' piece of cement, the kind used in poured concrete buildings as a roof / floor. I wasn't able to get a picture of the other truck it fell off of, but if you can imagine, NO ONE was hurt. Incredible is all I can say... Here are the pics. Enjoy.

Labor day approaches

Greeting ready for labor day, cant imagine what it would be like to be living in Lousiana right now. Being a short time resident a number of years ago I can only estimate at how desistating that flood must have been to the masses of people who live in the southern area. :(

Hard for me to complain about anything after seeing these poor people and the suffering they are going thru....
